" Nothing grows in my garden as it never gets any sun", the old woman said. 4. «It isn't so foggy today as it was yesterday», I remarked. 5. " We have a lift but very often it doesn't work", they said. 6. «From the window of my flat I can see the river», said my friend. 7. " You got me wrong, Joan", Tony said.

1. Jack said to his mother that he was going away the next day. 
2. Ann said that she had been to London for a month but she hadn't had time to visit the tower. 
3. The old woman said that nothing grew in her garden as it never got any sun.
4. I remarked that it wasn't so foggy that day as it had been the day before. 
5. They said that they had a lift but it didn't work very often.
6. My friend said that from the window of his flat he could see the river. 
7. Tony said to Joan that she had got him wrong.
